Zenobia is brought to the United States as an infant by her immigrant parents, who are in search of the American Dream. Sixteen years later, their journey has been met with unforeseen circumstances: trying to stay financially afloat while navigating norms in a new environment, fighting to maintain cultural traditions with a daughter who is now "Americanized," and considering to do the unthinkable to save themselves and their daughter.

His writing credits include the plays,“It Takes a Village to Raise…Hell,” produced by The Marian Holding Theatre, “Family Matters,” produced at Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company, “Angela’s Justice,” produced at Theater for the New City and “Josh: The Black Babe Ruth,” produced at Woodie King, Jr’s New Federal Theatre. Numerous screenplays written and was commissioned to write, “The Skin I’m In” a play that is touring the N.Y. Public Schools. He is a founding member of the Uptown Playwrights’ Workshop.
As an actor, he has performed in plays such as August Wilson’s Women (AUDELCO AWARD), Fences (AUDELCO AWARD), Wild Children (written by Vincent Pastore of the HBO series The Sopranos), 365 Plays/365 Days, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Black Girl, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Ella Jane New (LAB DIRECTOR) is a theatre and film maker based in NYC. After receiving her MFA from University of London, Ella wrote and directed Banquet of Chestnuts at the George Wood Theatre in London, where she received the Goldsmiths New Writing Award. Other awards include: WOMEN MAKE MOVIES Fellowship and Eastman Foundation Grant and was chosen for the Creative Minds Program in association with Sundance Institute & Sundance Film Festival. Ella's work has been seen around the world at the U.N. Global Wake-Up Fest; Unspoken human rights Festival and has received distribution by BBC Worldwide, Al Jazeera and Globostat Brazil."
