CAST
SACHI PARKER (ANGIE)
Sachi Parker, the daughter of internationally acclaimed film star Shirley MacLaine and the late producer Steve Parker, is an accomplished actress in her own right, appearing in theater and films throughout the world. Born in Los Angeles, she moved to Japan at age 2 to live with her father, and spent much of her childhood there before moving on to boarding schools in England and Switzerland. She spent her early adult years in Hawaii, Australia and France, before returning to Los Angeles at the age of 25 to live with her celebrated mother.
Parker made her film debut in 1985 in “Stick,” directed by Burt Reynolds, and appeared in “Back to the Future,” “About Last Night,” “Peggy Sue Got Married,” “Riders to the Sea,” “Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael,” “Bad Influence,” and “Scrooged.” She recently completed “All Me, All the Time,” with Keir Dullea. When television beckoned, Parker soon found herself guest-starring in numerous popular series and TV movies, including “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Equal Justice,” “Eerie, Indiana,” “Alien Nation,” “Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre,” “Santa Barbara,” “Capitol” and “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” . Her theater work included “The Lulu Plays,” “Ladies in Waiting,” and “Pastorale.” She was invited to perform at Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival in “My Cup Runneth Over,” “West Side Story,” “Moon Children” and “Independence.” She has appeared in regional theatre companies in the Chekhov classics “The Cherry Orchard,” “The Seagull” and “The Three Sisters.”
Staying true to her Japanese roots, Parker has served as the daytime anchor for a Japanese language news program out of New York City, and starred in daytime Japanese television. She was recognized for her work as an actress bridging cultural differences between Japan and the US in l990 with the prestigious Kurosawa Award. In 2008, Parker appeared in the acclaimed Japanese film “The Witch of the West is Dead”, playing the leading role of a 75-year-old grandmother and winning the Best Actress Award. She is currently starring in a web series The So So You Don’t Know, having won 3 Best Actress Awards.
She lives in New York City.
KIRK GOSTKOWSKI (JACOB)
Artistic Director Chain Theatre ; Select acting credits: World Premiere of Garbageman as Dan Bandana, Nick Moroni (NYC Premiere Keith Huff’s Six Corners), The Pillowman as Katurian (2016 Queens Kudos Winner Best Actor), Talk Radio as Barry Champlain (2015 NYIT Award Nominee for Outstanding Revival), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as R. P. McMurphy, Hurlyburly as Eddie, After the Fall as Quentin, Fool for Love as Eddie, In The Boom Boom Room as Al, True West as Austin, Wait Until Dark as Roat (Nominated as Best Director 2016 NYIT). He is the founder and Festival Director of the Chain NYC Film Festival. Kirk made his film directorial debut with the film Leave Me Behind, which was featured in ten film festivals across the world, won awards, and is distributed through Screen Media Ventures. Appearing next in the feature film: My Sister’s Wedding. Kirk is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree focused in performance.
GABRIEL RYSDAHL (DANNY)
Graduating from Terry Knickerbocker Studio June of 2021, Gabriel has since appeared in numerous festival winning short and feature films, being nominated for best supporting actor for the film Wicked Image at Garden State Film Festival. He recently completed the proof of concept film Black Menagerie, written and directed by David Rysdahl.
RICA DE OCAMPO (HANNAH)
Originally from Northern Virginia, Rica is a Meisner trained actor (William Esper Studio, David Newer), singer, pole dancer, circus artist, black belt in TKD and ukulele enthusiast. She is a proud New Yorker, whom you may have seen throw a frisbee on your TV. CHRISTINA PERRY (ALLY)
Perry is a film and theatre actor and producer. Highlighted theatrical roles include: Six Corners as Amanda, Fool for Love as May, Hurlyburly as Darlene, Talk Radio as Linda, and Wait Until Dark as Susan (NYIT Nominee for Best Actress in a Leading Role). Film: In the Dark Room. Training: New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts; School for Film and Television. Perry thanks her family and the Sisu (Finnish moxie) they instilled in her.
MATTHEW MCLACHLAN (Playwright) was born in Scotland, raised in Florida, and currently survives in New York City. He is a two-time ScreenCraft Stage Play Finalist and Samuel French OOB Festival Finalist. His plays include: Comic Shop, The Demand of Avarice, This God Damn House, Jack & Melissa, Orion, and The Apartment Play/The Place We Were Meant To Be. His plays have been presented by Abingdon Theatre Company, Nylon Fusion, The Chain Theatre, The NOW Collective, The Farm Theater, The PIT, Thespis Theater Festival, and performed regionally in Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, New Jersey, West Virginia, & Florida. Other credits include: Nominated for Best Writer of a Web-Series (ADULTish), The Roast of Michael Musto (Head-Writer), & his published works A Collection of One-Acts & Other Things You May or May Not Enjoy and full-length play Orion are available now at The Drama Bookshop and on Amazon.
ELLA JANE NEW (Director) is a film and theatre director based in New York City. Director of the critically acclaimed NYTimes Critics Pick macbitches. She recently completed a podcast production of Falling In Love With Mr Dellamort, with Tony/Emmy winning cast: James Monroe Iglehart, Lena Hall and Jackie Hoffman. This April Ella will be directing Daughter of the Wicked at Manhattan Theatre Club. Other theatre directing credits include: NYC Premiere of Six Corners by Emmy Nominated Keith Huff (House of Cards, Mad Men, American Crime); Jack Feldstein's Three Months With Pook at SOHO Playhouse; Queen Z by Michael A. Jones (starring Kara Young/Lucille Lortel nominee); and the World Premiere of Chasing The River by Jean Dobie Geibel at Chain Theatre. Ella is the director of the Chain Play Writing Lab founded in 2019, supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs NY.
DAVID ZAYAS JR. (Assistant Director) is a Bronx Native, theater and film Director , Actor, and Photographer. David is a member of The Actors Studio’s Playwright/Directors Unit and LAByrinth Theater Company. He has directed with LAByrinth, Planet Connections, Actors Theatre of NY, NY Theater Festival, Samuel French OOB Festival, and Chain Theatre along with award winning films in over 20 festivals.

Stage Manager: Nicole Amaral
Nicole is so happy to working on This God Damn House. She is a New York City native with Brazilian roots. She has extensive experience in theater both on and off stage. She is the Company Manager of Actors Theater Company, Managing Director of Hamlet Isn’t Dead. Some of her recent theater credentials include: “Men on Boats” at Atlantic Theater Stage 2 (Stage Manager), “El Comanchero” with Saudade Theatre (Stage Manager), “Bunnies in Space featuring Astronomy Club” at Power Station (Stage Manager and Actor), "Clue but Black Workshop" at LA Broadwater Theater (Stage Manager/Co-Director/Lighting Designer/ Sound Designer), along with many other productions. Nicole is an alumna of Developing Artists Theatre Company where she was the recipient of the Kevin Geer Scholarship.
Set Design: David Henderson
David is a Professor of Drama and Dance, and Director of Scenic Design, at Hofstra University. He holds an MFA in Costume and Scenic Design from Carnegie Mellon University. He has designed costumes or scenery for over 100 theater and film productions across the country including the Seattle Group Theater, City Theater in Pittsburgh, and The American Studio Theater in New York. He has designed many productions, both in costumes and scenery, for Hofstra University, and in 2016 designed Hofstra’s new Globe Stage replica. He has produced and directed several short films which have won multiple awards including Best Short Film at the FAIF International Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award at the Brooklyn International Film Festival. David was the recipient of the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Teacher of the Year Award for 2017.
Lighting Design: Michael Abrams
Michael has designed numerous shows all over the country, including Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Regional, Tour and Cruise Ship venues. Select Design credits include: I of the Storm, Music Man, The Merry Widow, The Salvage Shop, My Favorite Year, Twelfth Night, The Last Starfighter, Midsummer Nights Dream, Occupation: Dragonslayer, American Nocturne, She Loves Me, Amadeus, Quartet, Last Five Years, Jekyll & Hyde, Scarlet Pimpernel, Parade, King and I, Children of Eden, Annie, Forever Plaid, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat, Singing in the Rain, Anything Goes, and A Christmas Carol. In addition to designing shows, Michael is a professional photographer that has been published nationally and internationally.
Sound Design: Greg Russ
Working on-air and in production at radio stations in Atlanta and New York, the depressing state of the industry took it’s toll on Greg, crushing a once vibrant soul. Persevering through the residual cynicism and bitterness, he found the to rebuild his happiness and now works shooting and editing video/film, and somehow convinced people he is capable of designing sound for theatre. Costume Design: Rica de Ocampo
Rica’s costume design experience has solely been on screen until now. [NY stage costume design debut!] While living in New York, she has been costume designer and wardrobe supervisor for several short films. (The Garage Productions)
Fight Choreographer: Nick Fondulis
Nick is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) and AEA. Nick is part of SAG-AFTRA, where he serves on the NY Local Board and as a Convention Delegate.
Assistant Fight Choreographer: Caroline Orlando
Previous credits: macbitches and Chasing the River (Chain Theatre World Premiere); Three Characters Figure It Out (Chain Theatre One Act Festival). Originally from a small town in Massachusetts, Caroline recently graduated from Hofstra University with her BFA in Theatre Arts - performance concentration. Previous roles at Hofstra: Queen Elizabeth (Richard III), Tansy (The Nerd), and Clovis (Dream of a Common Language).
Production Assistant: Grace Leob
Grace Loeb is a Brooklyn-based theater technician and a 3rd year BFA Theater Design and Tech student at Brooklyn College. Their areas of specialty are as a stagehand, crew chief and stage management. Grace's past credit includes being the deck crew chief for "The One Act Festival" (dir. Lauren Zeftel, Florence Le Bas, and Ivey Lowe) in the Spring of 2022. Assistant Stage Manager for “The Motherfucker with the Hat” by Stephen Adly Guirgis (dir. Pattrick Sabongui) in the Fall of 2022. Assistant Stage Manager for “The Taming of the Shrew” by William Shakespeare (dir. Ivey Lowe) in the Spring of 2023.

Rosin was instrumental in the launch of the Broadway musical Brooklyn and the National Tour of Mother Load. She worked on the publicity team for the comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, and his movie Comedian.
